Game Jam Review


Hey BDK here,

The game jam was a great time, if exhausting. We were able to make a lot of progress and get a working demo (Demo002) done. Please check it out. Going forward for the streaming event next Friday, May 13, 2017 @1000 PST, we will be working to improve the game. Going even further, I am evaluating the feasibility of making a full published game, more on that soon.

We arrived at the Google Launchpad at 1730 on the 5th. I didn't leave until 1830 on the 7th. Megan had to leave for an acting gig. But overall I put in 35 hours of work and Megan put in 34 hours of work(= 69 hours of work). So, sleep was not a major part of our experience.

I've uploaded some shots from the development of the Game. You will notice I didn't get my marble text for quite some time and I had the psychedelic walls for quite some time. But I did get it, and oh my goodness does it make it look awesome.

BDK's time
